Anthony Cordeiro’s eldest daughter, Melanie, serves as Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for the Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency, LLC, and Cordeiro Properties, LLC, planning and implementing the companies’ marketing campaigns and diverse social media strategies. She is also the Executive Director of the Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation, Inc., focusing on enriching the lives of children and families in the community.

Melanie joined the team part-time at Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency, LLC, as an administrative assistant in 2011. She graduated Cum Laude from Providence College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Upon graduation Melanie worked for Prima-CARE, P.C., as a Human Resources Analyst. She again joined the Cordeiro family business in 2016. In 2020, Melanie obtained her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Charlton School of Business. In April 2023, she earned her Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University.

Additionally, Melanie sits on the President’s Council of Southcoast Hospitals Group and the Patient and Family Advisory Council of Southcoast Health. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Fall River and is a commissioner on the Licensing Board of the City of Fall River. Melanie is a member of the Board of Directors of the Southcoast Insurance Agents Association and a member of the Board of Trustees for Argosy Collegiate Charter School.

In her free time, she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family & friends.
